Today was captivating. Today was productive. Today was enjoyable. Today was.
I finally finished a new resource. And got it printed, laminated and uploaded to my TpT store. I’ll have to share about it more on another day. For now, my family is going to take center stage here.
I listened and watched my children play in leaves, sing praise songs to the Lord, climb trees and inspect berries, go deer hunting early this morning with my husband, bush hog on the hillside, and best of all, I snapped photos of them with my Nikon and it was absolutely precious time spent with each one individually capturing who they are.
I miss taking photos like these. I am going to get my Nikon out more often.
Your children are adorable! I am SO jealous of your fall leaves!!
Les, thank you! I would be jealous too! They are gorgeous this year!!! I am slightly jealous of your ability to go to the beach anytime though! It is so restorative for me! I miss it already so much after our trip earlier in the month to Gulf Shores. Thanks for your comment! 🙂 Leslie
I LOVE these colors! The children are beautiful and the scenery too. Happy Fall!!
Thanks Becky! I’ve always liked Fall and the colors too, but this year I am LOVING IT! We are really blessed to live on this little slice of the earth! I hope your family is doing well! 🙂 Leslie
What a joyful, fun post…yes, please use that Nikon more often:)
Awwww Chris! Thank you!!! I plan to use it more often. It has been so therapeutic and it brings joy to my soul! Ever since I dropped it in the HK airport, it acts a little wonky on the shutter … but when it works, the photos are still fantastic! I hope your beautiful family is doing well … preparing for a cold winter? I know we are! Can’t imagine how cold it is up there!!! 🙂 Leslie
re: the comment on my blog! I don’t add home schooling to my list. I look at HS moms and wonder how on earth they do it!
Gotcha, Chris! I remember that now. Still you have your hands and heart full! 😀
